Karachi port is presently operating three oil piers exclusively used
for tanker vessels, situated at the entrance of the port. Limitations
and restrictions of these piers are as under

In addition
to the above, there is a receiving facility at berth No 26 West Wharf,
where vessels normally discharge small parcels of palm oil, tallow
and lube oils while berthed abreast of another vessel. This is subject
to the availability of storage and the consignees arrangements with
the terminal.
At berth No 26 west wharf the draft is restricted to 32 feet.
Please be advised that Gas Oil, Crude Oil, Jet Oil, Fuel Oil, Naptha
and MTBE are Govt. Cargos and get priority on instructions from Ministry
of Petroleum to port authorities.
For all other products, tanker berthing is on a "first come first
serve basis."
